Color, Music & Vibration E-Book, by Bernard Jensen, Ph.D.

Everything in life and nature comes from vibration—light, color, sound, music, heat, even the waves on the ocean and the shapes of mountains. In this book, Dr. Jensen discusses the many ways in which the finer forces around us—especially color, music, and sound – influence our lives and health.
Learn about experiments in which a hothouse made of red plastic panels stimulated the growth of plants while blue panels stunted plant growth.
Discover how the color of foods stimulates different responses in the body—red foods are stimulants, for example, and yellow foods are all-natural laxatives.
Your imagination will be challenged and intrigued by the many possible applications of color, music, and sound to health, as discussed in this book.

In Chinese mythology, they divide everything into “sevens.” In the ocean, every seventh wave is a large wave. We divide our weeks into seven days. The number seven in the Good Book is considered the number of perfection. Nature has many cycles, and so does man.

There is a monthly cycle to women’s menstrual periods. There are two high tides each day in the ocean. We have four seasons in the year and twelve cycles of the full moon.

My lectures and work take place in a building I call the House of the Seventh Happiness. There are seven notes in the musical scale and seven colors in the rainbow. Everything in nature, if we look carefully enough, moves according to regular cycles or vibrations.

We can say that everything is vibration, and everything comes forth from vibration. I feel even love is a vibration. You can even feel this vibration when people love you, or at least some say they can.

Murdo MacDonald Baines, one of my spiritual teachers, left a poem with me, and I think it is one of the nicest ones I have ever run across.

Spring blew trumpets of color, her green ran in my brain;
I saw a blind man groping, tap-tap, with his cane.
I pitied him in his blindness, but can I boast I see?
Perhaps there walks a spirit close by who pities me.
A spirit who sees me tapping the five-sensed cane of my mind
Amidst such unseen glories, I may be worse than blind.

Just think about it. It is not an easy thing to go through life, which is such a mad craze today, and we find that we have a lot to think
about.

I believe the rainbow and its colors are here for one purpose and that is to give life to all living things on the face of this earth. I am convinced of this. I saw this so much in my learning experiences, going out to discover what was going on in the world. Color is essential to life.
