Pupil Tonus ~ CD-ROM PPP – 36 Slides
The pupil border is living nerve tissue that signals the brain when to open and close the pupil in order to let in more light in a dark room and less light in the bright sunshine. It also anatomically connects to the brain and spinal cord through the optic nerve. When there has been an injury to the spine, the pupil border may flatten in corresponding areas. It may also become elliptical during serious illness showing the person needs to seek medical attention immediately. This CD teaches how to understand the messages in the border of the pupil.
